Therapy for Anxiety, Burnout & Emotional Overwhelm
Anxiety, depression, burnout, and major life transitions can deeply impact how you experience yourself and the world around you. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns of overthinking and self-criticism. At Glow Mental Health, therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin to feel steadier, supported, and more grounded.
These experiences don’t always appear suddenly. Often, they develop through prolonged stress, caregiving, chronic responsibility, health challenges, relationship strain, or long periods of emotional survival. Therapy helps you understand how your mind and body have adapted, and how to gently shift patterns that no longer serve you.
My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and compassionate. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based, and compassion-focused approaches. When helpful, EMDR may be gently incorporated for experiences that feel emotionally “stuck,” but therapy is always guided by your comfort, safety, and readiness.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can feel like living in a constant state of alertness. Your thoughts may race, your body may stay tense, and your nervous system may feel as though it’s always preparing for what might go wrong. You might experience chronic worry, overthinking, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, or a sense of being unable to fully relax.
Anxiety therapy offers a space to slow things down and understand how your nervous system responds to stress. Together, we work on building emotional safety, strengthening regulation skills, and helping your body and mind feel more grounded and supported.
Anxiety therapy can help you:
Reduce chronic worry and mental overwhelm
Feel calmer and more present in your body
Understand emotional and physical triggers
Develop tools for nervous system regulation
Rebuild trust in your resilience and inner stability
Depression Therapy
Depression can feel heavy, quiet, and isolating. You may feel disconnected from yourself, unmotivated, emotionally numb, or weighed down by sadness or emptiness. Tasks that once felt manageable can become exhausting, and it can be hard to imagine things feeling different.
Depression therapy is a space where you do not have to pretend to be okay. We gently explore what has been weighing on you, make room for emotions that may have been suppressed, and work toward restoring a sense of meaning, connection, and self-compassion at your own pace.
Depression therapy can support you in:
Understanding feelings of numbness, sadness, or hopelessness
Rebuilding motivation and emotional connection
Processing grief or unresolved emotional pain
Strengthening your sense of identity and worth
Feeling less alone in your experience
Burnout Therapy
Burnout often develops when you have been giving too much for too long without enough support, rest, or recognition of your own needs. It can show up as emotional exhaustion, physical fatigue, irritability, loss of motivation, or feeling disconnected from yourself and your life.
Burnout therapy focuses on helping you reconnect with your capacity, boundaries, and sense of self. It is not about pushing harder, but about learning how to care for yourself in a more sustainable and compassionate way.
Burnout therapy can help you:
Recover from emotional and physical exhaustion
Rebuild energy and emotional capacity
Understand patterns of over-responsibility or perfectionism
Strengthen boundaries and self-trust
Create a more balanced and sustainable way of living
Life Transitions Therapy
Life transitions can be deeply destabilizing, even when they are expected or chosen. Changes such as becoming a parent, fertility challenges, relationship shifts, career changes, health diagnoses, moving, or entering a new phase of life can bring uncertainty, grief, identity shifts, and emotional vulnerability.
Sometimes transitions come with loss. Other times they come with excitement mixed with fear. Often, they carry both. Therapy offers a space to process what is ending, what is beginning, and who you are becoming in between.
Life transitions therapy can support you in:
Navigating uncertainty and emotional change
Processing grief connected to endings or unmet expectations
Strengthening identity during periods of transformation
Building emotional resilience and self-trust
Finding clarity, meaning, and stability in change
Anxiety, depression, burnout, and difficulty with life transitions are not signs of weakness. They are often signs that your nervous system and emotional world have been carrying too much without enough support.
This work is not about fixing you. It is about helping you feel understood, grounded, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
At Glow Mental Health, therapy is a space to reconnect with yourself, rebuild emotional resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and sustainable.
You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode. With the right support, it’s possible to feel clearer, steadier, and more connected to yourself again.
At Glow Mental Health, CBT therapy is about empowering you with understanding, tools, and compassion so you can move forward with confidence and emotional resilience.
